A Quick and Dirty Update on Incoming Projects and Site Changes
I would first like to take a moment to extend warm gratitude to those of you who supported the release of Girl Rot 162 back in June. There was much build up to the essay and I, honestly, could not have stuck the landing on that one if not for the wonderful users over at xenofem for inspiring me to continue with my more esoteric musings. A huge thank you to all of my fellow witches of the primordial slime there!
I would highly recommend making an account there if you are a trans fem with an interest in schizoanalysis, unconditional accelerationism, gender accelerationism, the CCRU, or other forms of occultic trans feminism.
Now, let's discuss some writing updates. First of all, I am pleased to officially announce that I am going to be revisiting the wonderfully bleak and interesting world of Disco Elysium for my next essay: "The Post-Punk Revolution of Disco Elysium". This project will not only be a revisit of my, let's face it, lackluster review of the 2019 game, but it will also be an extended analysis of the themes of the game and how they relate to the post-Soviet world. I would like to have this essay out before the end of the year. Unfortunately, this project has proven to be a bit more difficult to write and I will miss my original October 15th deadline to celebrate Disco Elysium's release anniversary. C'est la vie
As always, I am continually working on poetry and I am still slowly but surely drafting up a potential essay about the hyperstitional oddities of the Monogatari Series, disclaimer and all! Check out my xenofem page for, hopefully, more consistent updates on poetry and other projects. I would also like to start working on a poem collection I could perhaps put on real paper someday.
Let's get to some site updates. My site admin, Nil, and I are currently working on changes to art here. This will involve more incorporation of my personal sigil as well as the Girl Rot sigil I divined for its respective essay. The Eye of Azathoth will remain in a few places, but I would like to transition the website to a much more personalized and unique look with more original concepts. We are always willing to hear feedback on making the site easier to navigate!
That concludes the updates this time around. As always, if you want to support my continued survival and that of my creative endeavors, you can toss a coin to me over on Ko-Fi. I hope you all have a wonderful harvest moon and beyond!
Until our paths cross again,
Djynxx
